Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE)

General Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must present the complete CAPE diploma (six units) offered by the Caribbean Examinations Council. 
  • English completed at CSEC or CAPE level is required for all programs.   
  • Pure Mathematics (CAPE level Unit I or II) is required for programs with the Math prerequisite.  
  • Other prerequisite subjects should be presented at the CAPE level. Some programs may consider excellent CSEC results for fulfilling a prerequisite. 
  • Within these admission categories, some programs of study may require additional high school subjects as prerequisites for specific courses in first year or for entry into a specific program in second year.   
  • Supplemental applications are required for admission to the Computer Science and Rotman Commerce admission categories.
