The Arts & Science Council considers and approves policy for the Faculty of Arts & Science. It approves academic policy for the Faculty in areas such as curriculum, admissions, academic units, and regulations governing evaluation and standing.
Meeting information, with agendas and documentation for review is made available to members and posted on the Arts & Science Governance SharePoint site one week ahead of a meeting of Council.
Update on Proposed Amendments to Arts & Science Council’s Constitution and By-Laws
Thank you to members of the Arts & Science community who provided feedback on the proposed amendments to the Council’s Constitution and By-Laws in person and virtually at the March 15, 2023 Arts & Science Council meeting, as well as through our online feedback form.
The final version of the proposed amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws of the Faculty of Arts & Science Council will be presented for approval (and recommendation, for the Constitution) at the April 19, 2023 Arts & Science Council meeting.
Arts & Science faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend the upcoming Council meeting as guests. Please contact governance.artsci@utoronto.ca for details.
