Dean Woodin welcomes A&S community to the 2021–22 academic year

September 9, 2021 by A&S News

Dear A&S students, faculty, and staff,

Welcome to a new academic year! The first week of fall classes always brings a renewed sense of excitement and optimism. Walking around campus this week, I have been energized by the buzz. It is so great meeting new and returning students and chatting with staff and faculty.

Fall is always a time of transition, and that is especially true this year. We are still in a pandemic, and I want to thank all of you for adapting and supporting each other as we transition back to campus. Despite the challenges that may lie ahead, we will continue to adapt together as needed and create new and positive experiences along the way.

As you start this year, I encourage you to connect with one another and take advantage of opportunities that help you feel excited about what you can accomplish this year. We have an amazing A&S community. Please remember to reach out when you need help or guidance.

Throughout the next few weeks and the year, I will continue to provide regular updates and stay connected with you. In the meantime, I want to wish you well during this first week and throughout the term. Together we will make this a successful year.

Best regards,

Dean Woodin
