Arts & Science Internship Program (ASIP) students receive extensive professional and skill development training and supports through the ASIP supplementary curriculum.

What Can Our Students Offer?

Economics makes considerable use of mathematics and statistics in its inquiries. Students are well-equipped to contribute to the field and excel in various professional settings.

By the End of Second Year:

  • Understanding of canonical models and methodologies of macro and microeconomics and using them to analyze real-world events
  • Grasp of fundamental statistics and quantitative methodologies, empowering them to select and apply appropriate analytical approaches interpreting quantitative data and draw valid statistical conclusions

By the End of Third Year:

  • Solid foundation in analyzing economic data, comprehending market dynamics and evaluating social and economic events and policies
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex economic issues, identifying patterns, assessing evidence and constructing coherent and logical arguments
  • Excellent skills in expressing economic concepts and arguments clearly and succinctly, both in written form and through oral presentations
