Student Testimonial: Arihant Bapna

"On the whole, the relationships and connections I established during my work term stand out as the most rewarding aspects. I've gained significant insight into professional conduct, particularly in composing messages on platforms like Slack and crafting concise yet professional emails. These are competencies directly acquired from my work experience this term. I now bring more value to my team compared to four months ago and these skills are transferrable to various positions.

In terms of support, I've been fortunate to work alongside an exceptional team and manager, along with some of the most intelligent and supportive colleagues I could have hoped for. Initially, I frequently posed questions and the team consistently went above and beyond to provide thorough answers. While I now seek guidance less often, the initial support was crucial to my learning process.

Lastly, the opportunity to make a positive impact on the team and witness its influence throughout the company has been immensely gratifying. At Flipp, where I serve as a software engineer, co-ops are treated like full-time employees, fostering a truly transformative approach. We are entrusted with the same tasks, responsibilities and level of respect as our full-time counterparts. Although this could seem daunting to some, this approach has undoubtedly driven us to excel."
