Student Testimonial: Tiffany Seo

“My first work term was at the University of Toronto Publishing company, where I undertook marketing duties, including social media marketing, content creation and e-commerce marketing for the U of T Bookstore. I found this internship incredibly rewarding because it allowed me to apply many of the media theories I had learned in my book and media studies courses to real-world tasks. This enabled me to achieve my professional development goals through the application of classroom knowledge and insights gained from the industry.

Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed working with a close-knit group of people within my marketing team at the smaller company. I learned so much about my preferred work culture and environment through my internship, as well as the kind of work I want to be providing for the people in my community.”
