2023 A&S Outstanding Achievement Awards

Faculty, staff, sessional lecturers and a graduate student course instructor were celebrated at the annual Arts & Science Outstanding Achievement Awards. Melanie Woodin, dean of the Faculty of Arts & Science, presented the awards earlier this month at the Faculty Club.

Outstanding Teaching Award Winners

The Faculty of Arts & Science presents Outstanding Teaching Awards annually in recognition of teaching excellence in undergraduate and graduate education. They are given to faculty for the excellence of their classroom instruction and for their contribution to their unit’s course design and curriculum development.

Established in 1999, the Outstanding Staff Awards recognize staff-appointed administrative and technical employees who have achieved excellence in support of the Faculty’s mission of teaching and research. These staff have earned the respect of their colleagues for their professionalism and teamwork, and for making an impact that extends beyond their unit or department.
