Hello Arts & Science!
It seems like just yesterday I was welcoming you to campus as your acting dean.
Over the last few months, I have had the privilege of meeting so many of our students at various events, research fairs, at convocation and all around our beautiful campus. I am truly inspired by your ideas, your energy and your passion to learn. With exams starting soon, please know that I am sending you positive thoughts and wishing you all much success.
To all our faculty members, I am astounded by your wisdom and pedagogical commitment as you continue to push the boundaries of knowledge. To our staff, I feel so honoured to work alongside you. Your dedication and support of our students, programs and of each other is invaluable and deeply appreciated. I am equally grateful to our Arts & Science alumni, our donors and all the partners who continue to support this wonderful community.
We recently celebrated our esteemed colleague University Professor Emeritus Geoffrey Hinton winning the Nobel Prize in Physics. Moments like this remind us how amazing it is to be a part of Arts & Science.
As my term as acting dean comes to a close, I hope 2025 brings you all success and new opportunities.
This holiday season, I encourage you to really take some time to recharge and cherish moments spent with family and friends.
Have a wonderful break!
