Influential Voices: UC Alumni Lecture Featuring George S. Takach

Explore the dynamics of the global geopolitical landscape with technology lawyer, author, and University College alumnus George S. Takach, who will share insights from his latest book, Cold War 2.0: Artificial Intelligence in the New Battle between China, Russia, and America.

Cold War 2.0 looks at the role of AI, military coordination, missile defense systems, advanced semiconductor chips, quantum computers, and bio-engineering in shaping the conflict between democracy and autocracy.

Following the presentation, John Kirton, professor of political science and director of the G8 research group, will lead a conversation on how Western democracies can navigate these complex challenges.
