Boris Babic.Boris Babic is an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Statistical Sciences. He earned his PhD in Philosophy and MSc in Statistics from the University of Michigan. He also completed a JD from Harvard University, and a BA at York University.

Prior to joining the University of Toronto, Babic was assistant professor in the Decision Sciences Department at INSEAD. This appointment followed his work as a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology. His research is primarily centred in the foundations of Bayesian statistics and in normative and ethical questions arising in the implementation of algorithmic decision-making procedures.
