Hear a public lecture on “The Powerful Politics of Poetry” by poet, educator, journalist and advocate El Jones. Jones currently holds the Nancy’s Chair in Women’s Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University and is co-founder of the radio show Black Power Hour.

Watch a special screening of The Girls of Meru, a documentary about the heartbreaking yet uplifting journey of a group of girls in Meru, Kenya and their brave steps toward meaningful equality for girls worldwide.
