Admission Pathway Programs

The Faculty of Arts & Science provides several admission pathway programs for those who are interested in accessing our academic opportunities but who do not meet admission requirements.

  • The Millie Rotman Shime Academic Bridging Program offers an opportunity for those who do not meet the academic requirements for admission to the University of Toronto to qualify for an Honours Bachelor of Arts or Honours Bachelor of Science degree program in the Faculty of Arts & Science.
  • The Transitional Year Programme is a special access program for adults who do not have the formal educational background to qualify for university admission. This full-time, eight-month course of study leads successful students to enter the Faculty of Arts & Science.
  • The Diploma to Degree Program is a college-to-university transfer program located at Woodsworth College within the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto. If you are enrolled in a two-year arts and science diploma at one of our partner institutions, the Diploma to Degree Program could be your pathway to university studies.
  • If you are 65 years of age or older and would like to take undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Arts & Science, you can apply for the 65+ Program even if you do not meet the prerequisite requirements for admission to a degree program.
