Lindsey Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography & Planning and holds a PhD in medical science from the University of Cambridge.
Her research focuses on the built environment as a target for promoting sustained healthy behaviours. She also uses diverse data, including the combination of GPS and qualitative data, to map activity locations and better understand mechanisms of behavioural change.
Smith explores mobilities of population groups with unique travel needs to strengthen the knowledge base for healthier and more equitable urban design.
