Message from Dean Woodin about undergraduate course delivery

October 20, 2020 by A&S News

Dear members of the A&S community,

On Friday, October 9, the Province of Ontario announced the implementation of additional public health measures in Toronto, Ottawa and Peel Region to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in these communities.

In response to this announcement, the University has released a statement outlining changes to on-campus activities effective October 10. The Provost has additionally asked all faculties and divisions to consider carefully the limited in-person activities that are now taking place on our three campuses. Here, within the Faculty of Arts & Science, effective Saturday, October 10, all undergraduate courses that are currently offered both online and in-person will switch to online-only delivery for the remainder of the Fall 2020 academic term. This means that only courses that are exclusively in-person will continue to be offered in person and will continue to follow all relevant health and safety procedures already in place.

As always, thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility as we continue to navigate this together.

Regards,
Dean Woodin
