Game on! Step into a night of nostalgia, competition, and discovery at the U of T Alumni Gaming Night, where the past, present, and future of gaming collide. Enjoy a relaxed evening of pub bites, swag giveaways, and great company.

Mingle with fellow U of T alumni and play nine classic console style video games from the Syd Bolton Collection, one of the world’s largest video game collections (housed at UTM), and compete in a big screen high-stakes Super Mario Kart time trial for prizes.
Hear from Professor Steve Engels, Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Arts & Science and Chris Young, Head of Collections and Digital Scholarship, UTM. Learn about gaming programs at U of T, the University’s role in this global entertainment industry, the impact of gaming on our daily lives, and their influence on pop culture.
In addition to the classic console games below, guests will also have an opportunity to play and learn about Venba, an award-winning U of T alumni-created game.
