Description
Join us for Working for Change, a half-day mini conference for students and recent graduates interested in careers in social justice and the non-profit sector.
This community-centered gathering brings together emerging changemakers, organizers, and non-profit practitioners to explore how identity, values, and lived experience shape pathways into meaningful social justice work. Rooted in the principles of anti-racism, equity, collective care, and intersectionality, the program blends reflection, career education, and facilitated conversation to support participants in navigating sustainable, values‑aligned careers.
You will take part in:
> A guided reflective session to develop Career Purpose Statements
> Practical career insights
> An interactive panel and Q&A with community leaders Harmeet Rehal, DeiJaumar Clarke, and Anyika Mark, who will share candid perspectives on organizing, movement work, and building community-led change
