Join us for an exclusive panel discussion, hosted by the Rotman School of Management in partnership with the Faculty of Arts & Science and Faculty of Law. “Breaking Barriers, Building Connections” focuses on fostering relationships within the Black community, and welcomes University of Toronto alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends.
Our panelists will explore what it means to be Black in corporate spaces, illuminating professional challenges and opportunities.
The discussion will feature U of T alumni panelists with lived experience, navigating corporate Canada as members of the Black community:
- Apefa Adjivon (HBA ‘20); Co-Chair, Girls Action Foundation
- Gave Lindo (HBA ’03; JD/MBA ‘07); Head of Content Programming at TikTok
- Tapfuma Musewe (HBSc ’06; GEMBA ‘20); Associate Director of Sustainable Finance, at EYElliance (NY) and Executive Director, at Afrifursa (Toronto)
- Ruth C. White, PhD MPH MSW RSW, Project Advisor at Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of the Rotman School of Management will moderate.
A networking session with light refreshments will follow the panel discussion.
