A deeply personal journey by U of T alum Dr. Yannick Giovanni Marshall chronicling the challenges, experiences and lessons learned while working within higher education systems using a decolonial approach and exploring the boundaries of critical Black thought.
Join students from the Centre for Caribbean Studies class to hear this personal "message from exile" and explore the ways in which the notion of exile has shaped deep connections to the Caribbean, through literature, music, religion, culture, politics and beyond.
In today's turbulent social and political climate how is Pan Africanism re-writing its future?
