Undergraduate Curriculum Committees
The three Undergraduate Curriculum Committees pertaining to the Humanities, Sciences and Social Sciences review and approve proposals for changes to courses and programs, or to create new courses or programs. Significant proposals, like major modifications, closure of undergraduate programs, and new undergraduate programs, proceed to the Arts & Science Council for approval, subject to the approval of the appropriate body of the University’s Governing Council.
2023–24 Meeting Schedule
Meetings are scheduled to take place in a hybrid format. Meeting end times may be adjusted depending on the meeting agenda. Normally, invitations will be sent to the associate chair, undergraduate, vice-principal, or undergraduate program director for unit representation.

- Social Sciences: November 17, 2023, from 9:30 am–12 pm
- Humanities: November 20, 2023, from 9:30 am–12 pm
- Sciences: November 21, 2023, from 9:30 am–12 pm
January
- Social Sciences: January 23, 2024, from 9:30 am–12 pm
- Humanities: January 24, 2024, from 9:30 am–12 pm
- Sciences: January 26, 2024, from 9:30 am–12 pm
March
- Joint meeting (with all three sectors): March 27, 2024, from 2:10–4:30 pm

Graduate Curriculum Committee
The Graduate Curriculum Committee reviews and approves proposals for minor modifications to existing St. George-based graduate programs, including changes to graduate programs, new graduate courses and changes to existing courses. Proposals for the closure of any graduate programs, new St. George-based graduate programs, and major modifications are referred to the Arts & Science Council for approval, subject to the approval of the appropriate body of the University’s Governing Council.

Most of the meetings are scheduled to take place in a hybrid format. Normally, the graduate coordinator is designated by the graduate chair/director of their unit to serve on the Graduate Curriculum Committee.
