Runjing Lu

Runjing Lu finished her PhD in economics from University of California San Diego in 2020. She was an assistant professor of finance at the University of Alberta for four years before joining the University of Toronto as an assistant professor of financial economics in the Department of Economics.
Her research interests span empirical finance, political economics and social media. Most recently, she studies how political and social media sentiment affect markets and households.
