Ningning Xie
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science
Ningning Xie is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science. She received her PhD in computer science at the University of Hong Kong in 2021, and her BSc from Zhejiang University in 2015. She also holds an appointment as a research scientist at Google DeepMind. She was previously a research associate at the University of Cambridge.
Xie's research interests are in the field of programming languages, where she applies programming language theory to a variety of domains, including language design, runtime and compiler systems, and machine learning systems. Her research has been recognized by multiple distinguished paper awards from leading programming languages conferences.
