Academic Units

The Faculty of Arts & Science is Canada’s largest and most research-intensive undergraduate and graduate enterprise, a vibrant intellectual community of scholars and students who are deeply committed to academic discovery and inclusive excellence.

The faculty comprises 29 departments and 49 interdisciplinary centres, schools and institutes and is the administrative home for several institutional strategic initiatives. We collaborate closely with other faculties and the seven colleges of the St. George campus.

More than 390 undergraduate and 150 graduate programs are offered across the humanities, social sciences and sciences.
