Scheduling Conflicts for Final Exams

A scheduling conflict occurs when one of the following is true:

  • Direct Conflict: You have two exams scheduled on the same day at the same time.
  • Three-in-a-Row: You have three exams in consecutive timeslots. There are three exam timeslots per day: Morning (9 am), afternoon (2 pm) and evening (7 pm). Some examples of a three-in-a-row conflict would be:
    • Exams that are scheduled for 9 am, 2 pm and 7 pm on the same day.
    • One exam at 7 pm followed by exams at 9 am and 2 pm on the next day.
    • One exam at 2 pm followed by another exam at 7 pm. on the same day and a 9 am exam the next morning.

If you have a scheduling conflict, follow the steps below to resolve the conflict:

  1. Check the final exam schedule to confirm if you have a conflict. Note any changes to the exam schedule.
