A permanent endowment fund established by Arts & Science in partnership with the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University (CFHU) and U of T to promote innovative programs, courses or initiatives that support student activities involving Hebrew University.
Instructors and students are invited to submit proposals for student-based activities in the range of $5,000 - $15,000 for the 2018-19 academic year. The general assumption is that the funded activity will take place within the fiscal year under consideration, although some flexibility regarding timing may be allowed.
Please submit a proposal using form above, taking into consideration the following criteria:
- How this project enhances the learning outcomes of students.
- How this project will contribute to the partnership between U of T and Hebrew University.
- How the project supports student activities involving Hebrew University.
- Activities are for Faculty of Arts & Science graduate and undergraduate degree students. Students must be in good standing and currently enrolled in an academic program at the time the proposed activity takes place.
All individuals whose proposals are approved are required to submit a summary report to the Dean detailing the success of the project and its outcome upon completion of the project or by September 1, 2019.
Proposal Submission Process
Proposals should be submitted to your department chair, program director or designate for approval.
A completed form forwarded from the chair/director/designate will be considered approved by your department or program. Approved proposals should be sent via email to email@example.com no later than November 16, 2018. A committee of faculty members, chaired by the Associate Dean, Undergraduate, reviews all eligible proposals.
