The Faculty of Arts & Science tackles today’s toughest challenges — from the climate crisis to the post-pandemic recovery to attacks on democracy, truth and science. Every day, A&S researchers and students examine these challenges — and more — up close. They ideate, innovate and collaborate to develop critical solutions with far-reaching impact in Toronto, Canada and around the globe.

And they couldn’t do it without you, the faculty and staff who are the backbone of Arts & Science. Your commitment and dedication are so deeply appreciated. Thank you!

This fall, support our students and missions of teaching and research through the 100 Days of Giving Campaign. Over the next 100 days, we're encouraging all faculty and staff to make a charitable gift in support of the programs you care deeply about and the scholars and students you see every day. And there will be monthly draws and a special lunch too! Your participation is the key to our success!

"Thank You" Monthly Draw

Faculty and staff who give $100 or more to Arts & Science between November 24 and March 4, 2022 will automatically be entered into a “Thank You” monthly draw. Each month, the Office of Advancement will draw two winners, who will have a selection of prizes from which to choose. Do you have a sweet tooth? Like to cozy up with a good book? Winners choose their prize! There will be four monthly draws, with eight chances to win. Give early to increase your chances of winning!

Note: All faculty and staff who have given at least $100 to Arts & Science between May 1 and November 23, 2021 will automatically be entered into the draw. No extra donation is required.

Dine with the Dean

All faculty and staff donors whose gifts to Arts & Science since May 1, 2021 total at least $1,827 (1827 was the year U of T was founded) will be invited to a thank you lunch, hosted by Dean Melanie Woodin on April 5, 2022. More details to come!

These donors will also be inducted into U of T’s President’s Circle, with access to exclusive lectures and events presented by some of the University’s most celebrated, insightful and inspiring professors and performers.

How to participate in 100 Days of Giving

Give online

Contribute a one-time or recurring gift to an A&S scholarship, fund or department. Collect credit card points!

Set up a payroll deduction

A payroll deduction is the easiest way for staff and faculty to give.
Direct your support to any fund, and your T4 will reflect all donations for that tax year.
One less item to look for around tax time.

To be eligible for the monthly draw and/or Dine with the Dean, gifts must be made to Arts & Science funds.
