Transitional Year Program graduate Mike Auksi (Aboriginal Studies) manages a busy schedule playing Varsity Blues hockey and maintaining good grades. “It keeps me very productive and balanced. I just love the fact that I’m attending the best university in Canada and am doing well.”

Aboriginal studies and women’s studies student Jocelyn Pelletier helped plan a conference for Aboriginal youth through U of T’s work-study program, which offers part-time on-campus employment to students with financial need. “My work at First Nations House ensured that I had regular contact with local communities. I was very happy with the outcome – it may turn into an annual event.”
