First speaker: I have been part of FLCs since my first year and since I started, FLCs has been something that was really special. It was a major stepping stone for me personally. Because it really gave me the opportunity to discover what type of place U of T actually is. I commute all the way from Scarborough, and it would have been the easy route just to commute and go back home day in and day out. But it would have not been the most rewarding route. Speaker 2: I learned about how to study. I learned about resources on campus. I learned about the ROP placements, through FLCs. Being part of it, I get a community and I gained confidence to pursue different academic endeavours and social endeavors that I would not be able to do at a university. Speaker 3: I learned about how to study. I learned about resources on campus. I learned about the ROP placements, through FLCs. FLC gave me the opportunity to develop myself as a leader -- not only to lead different sessions but also to really to inspire students and help them ease the transition into university life. I formed some great friendships throughout the FLC program. I’m introduced to a world outside of the classroom. Basically all of the resources that the campus and the university has to offer me. I was introduced to through the FLC program. Group of 3: Leadership! Happiness! Fun! Friendship! Last group of 3: FLCs is FUN!
