U of T’s free online courses, including three from computer science, are generating lots of buzz. Over 10,000 students signed up the first day. The Globe and Mail’s Margaret Wente calls it the beginning of an education revolution.

"How would you like to take the best courses from the best professors at the best universities in the world – basically for free?" she wrote. "How would you like to interact online with fellow students, have your online questions answered within minutes and take quizzes for real marks? You can now. And the revolution is just beginning."
