Clifford Orwin, political science professor and distinguished fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, wrote an op-ed piece for The Globe and Mail about religious-freedom and the Harper government's plan to establish an Office of Religious Freedom within the Department of Foreign Affairs.
"Freedom of religion is not itself religious; rather, it reflects the modern decision to put (and keep) religion in its proper place," he wrote.
