Curriculum Committees

The three Undergraduate Curriculum Committees pertaining to the Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences, review and approve proposals from undergraduate units looking to create new programs, as well as modify and retire courses and programs. For courses and minor program changes, the Curriculum Committee is the final level of approval; in other cases, items move on to the Arts and Science Council or even further for final approval. Undergraduate Curriculum Committees meet three times a year (usually once in fall and twice in winter/spring) in a timeline fitting the governance cycle.

Please be sure that a representative from the unit, such as the department Chair, Undergraduate Chair, Director or Principal, or their designate, attends to speak to any submissions that have been made.
