Curriculum Committees
The Faculty has three undergraduate Curriculum Committees: the Humanities Curriculum Committee; the Sciences Curriculum Committee; and the Social Sciences Curriculum Committee.
Each Curriculum Committee considers and approves new courses, programs and breadth requirements proposed by academic units in its respective area. Where suitable, it may also suggest new courses, programs and breadth requirements. Each Curriculum Committee forwards its recommendations directly to the Council for approval. A joint meeting may be held of all or some of the various committees to consider matters of Faculty-wide importance. The Curriculum Committees shall meet in early November to allow sufficient time for curriculum changes to be published in the Calendar.
Please be sure that a representative such as the department Chair, Undergraduate Chair, Director or Principal attends the meetings if any submission has been made.
