Vice-Dean, Undergraduate & International

The Vice-Dean, Undergraduate is responsible for aspects of undergraduate academic programs that pertain to curriculum approval and to special Faculty-wide programs: 199/299/399 programs, International Course Modules, First-Year Learning Communities and the Interdivisional Teaching and Undergraduate Course Development funds. The Vice-Dean handles student academic appeals on behalf of the Dean’s Office and serves as the first point of contact for teaching-only interdisciplinary programs housed in extra-departmental units and colleges.

The International portfolio focuses on developing structured and strategic pathways for faculty and students to engage with our international
institutional partners through research and teaching networks. Vice-Decanal internationalization responsibilities also include the Faculty’s programs promoting international experiences for students, international recruitment initiatives, curriculum and student support-related projects to enhance international student success in A&S. In addition to chairing the International Liaison Network, the International Advisory Committee, the International Opportunities Committee, and the International Working Group, the Vice-Dean, Undergraduate & International will also engage with internationalization initiatives at the provostial and vice-presidential level.
