IIT
Information and Instructional Technology
Computing in the Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS), Computers in Quantitative Science Teaching (CQUEST) and the Multimedia Centres for Learning in the Humanities are the core components of information technology within the Faculty. The three facilities operate a number of undergraduate and graduate teaching and language labs. IT support in the Faculty is either provided by the individual academic units (in larger science departments) or through CHASS.
Email, online scheduling/calendaring and other IT services are provided centrally through the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Services relating to development and support of the collaborative teaching environment (Blackboard) are provided both centrally through the Research Centre for Academic Technology (RCAT) and divisionally through the Teaching Technology Support office.
