Human Resources

The Human Resources (HR) office provides advice and service to the Dean’s Office and the Faculty’s academic units on the full spectrum of academic and administrative human resources issues, polices, collective agreements and procedures. On a day-to-day basis, the HR office assists departments in the creation of appropriate position descriptions, job classifications, recruitment and selection of administrative staff, performance assessment, professional development and on the provisions of the collective agreements with unionized staff including grievances. The office also provides advice on academic human resources policies and procedures as well as on the provisions and implementation of the collective agreement with sessional lecturers. The HR Office also provides advice and assistance with pension and benefits processing.
