The Registrar's office is responsible for the administration of admissions, registration and course enrollment, student academic record keeping, graduation assessment, final examinations, scheduling classrooms, student petitions, transfer credit assessment as well as the calendar and course timetable. In addition, the office coordinates advising in the Faculty and colleges, and acts as a resource about academic rules and procedures. The office also coordinates student affairs in Arts & Science, and administers the scholarships and awards for the Faculty. In a separate capacity, the office administers the University Transcript Centre. The Assistant Dean and Faculty Registrar, Glenn Loney, serves as the Secretary of the General Committee, overseeing the Faculty’s governance procedures, including approval of curriculum, policies, rules and regulations.
