Introduction and question and answer period hosted by Adam Nayman, film critic for eye weekly, Cinemascope, and Film Comment.

L'Intrus is a tremendously sensual and cerebral film from the acclaimed and provocative French director Claire Denis. It follows an old man attempting to reconcile with his estranged son while also coping with the effects of his recent heart transplant.

The Year of Languages Film Festival - Speaking Across the Frame: Language and Culture in European Cinema - is an exploration of questions of cross-cultural integration and identity within modern Europe. The constant evolution of language and culture in general, due to the growing globalization of the area, is reflected in these films, which tackle representative countries.
