Photo Contest 2012: Rules and Submission Info
You may enter your photo in one of the three following categories:

| Global Landscapes |
|
| Inspiring Moment |

Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and artistic quality.
- Does the photo capture a compelling learning experience?
- Does the photo contain international and cross-cultural content?
Submit your photo:
- Submit your photo via the online submission form.
- Your photo must be named using the following naming convention:
- Your First Name-Your-Last Name-Country-Category Number (i.e., Inspiring Moment is #3).jpg
- Example: "jane-smith-china-3.jpg" is the correct way to name the photo taken by Jane Smith in China entered in the Inspiring Moment category.
- Optimize your photos for emailing. Photos must be no bigger than 1 megabyte (MB).

Only currently registered students (Spring term 2012) who have participated in one or more of the following international programs are eligible to enter:

International field courses for which you received academic credit

International service learning courses for which you received academic credit

International independent research courses for which you received academic credit
- Only one entry per person.
- All photos must be taken in the country/countries in which the international program took place.
- All photos must have been taken by the program participant.
- Written consent must be obtained from all individuals appearing in the photo. Download a release form.
- Photos will be disqualified if they include violence or other inappropriate material.
- The contest will be judged by a jury including faculty members, students and staff involved in international programs in the Faculty of Arts & Science.
- By entering your photo in the contest, you give the Faculty of Arts & Science permission to use your name and photo in all University of Toronto promotional materials, including websites.
