  • Established by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and matched by OSOTF and EAF.

George Becigneul Memorial Award

  • Established by Mrs. Edith Becigneul in memory of George Becigneul who served as the Director of Labour Relations for the general contractors section of the Toronto Construction Association.
  • It is awarded to a student enrolled in the Master of Industrial Relations program at the University of Toronto, on the basis of academic performance and financial need.

Gerald Starr Memorial Scholarship

  • It is awarded to a full-time student in the Master of Industrial Relations program, who intends to specialize in the area of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour where academic performance and financial need will also be considered.

Institute for Work and Health Scholarship

  • It is awarded to one or more full-time graduate students at the Centre for Industrial Relations, on the basis of financial need, where academic merit will also be considered and preference will be given to students who have demonstrated past interest in, or expect to pursue work in, the area of work and health. Lorne T. Morgan Fellowship

  • Established through the generous donations of the former students of Professor Lorne T. Morgan who taught in the Department of Political Economy at the University of Toronto from 1930 to 1962 and matched by OSOTF and EAF.
  • It is awarded to a full-time student in the PhD program in Industrial Relations. MIR students who have a strong research interest will also be considered.
