Andrea and Charles Bronfman Student Awards in Israeli Studies

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in the Faculty of Arts and Science who is traveling to Israel for study or research, or who is pursuing study or research related to Israel (in Canada). Undergraduate students must be in their third or fourth year of study; minimum CGPA for consideration is 2.50.
  • Students may apply for either travel or non-travel awards. Preference will be given to requests for travel support.
  • Financial need will be considered. Undergraduate students must demonstrate financial need by qualifying for OSAP for the fall-winter sessions in Applications are composed of 5 parts that must be submitted together. Please ensure applications are complete upon submission. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must include applicant's student number and current mailing address.
  1. One-page statement outlining the student's program of study and/or research interests.
  2. Curriculum vitae.
  3. Detailed breakdown of estimated costs (travel awards only).
  4. One-page letter of support from a University of Toronto faculty member (must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the application).
  5. Photocopy of the applicant's OSAP assessment (undergraduate/graduate students) or a Financial Needs Assessment Form (graduate students).
