What has been your favourite course so far?

PSL498 - it's an independent research project course, so I got to spend a year in a research lab just doing experiments, learning new experimental techniques and finding out something that hasn't been studied before; definitely different from any regular course!

What support service have you found most useful at U of T?

The College Registrar is very helpful in providing all the information you need about your degree, providing academic advice, assessing program requirements and courses, and anything related to academics and coursework.

What advice would you give to first year students?

University courses require a lot of independent studying and reviewing, so finding out what works best for yourself when studying is an important part of succeeding in academics. Also, try to be involved in student clubs and college activities to keep relaxed while building a sense of community!

What is your favourite thing about Toronto?

There are so many things to do, such as visiting public attractions like the CN tower, watching sports like the NHL, NBA or MLB, kayaking around the Toronto Islands and even checking out city art exhibits like Nuit Blanche. There's always something to check out or visit in Toronto year-round.

My U of T is…

Anything you desire it to be! It's a unique experience for everyone.
