St. Michael’s College is one of the largest colleges in the Faculty of Arts & Science. With over 20 buildings on 12 acres, St. Michael’s is a veritable oasis on the historic east side of campus, within the bustle of downtown Toronto.

The college is rich in tradition and boasts some of the most spectacular architecture on the St. George campus. St. Michael’s College offers students of every background membership in a community that values and nurtures the intellectual, moral and spiritual development of all of its members.  From award-winning instructors, competitive athletic programs, student government, and a dedication to social justice, St. Michael’s is committed to preparing students for the challenges that await them beyond the college walls.

St. Michael’s College also hosts SMC One: Cornerstone Program, as well as interdisciplinary programs in Book and Media Studies, Celtic Studies, Christianity and Culture and Mediaeval Studies. St. Michael’s is the only college with an independent women’s residence in addition to a co-ed residence.

Scholarships and Awards

St. Michael's College offers over 300 scholarships, with values up to $3,500. Most are based on academic excellence but some take into account extracurricular involvement and/or financial need. Generous assistance is available for students with demonstrated financial need.
