Finnish Studies
Finnish studies at the University of Toronto are presently engaged in teaching the Finnish language - a three-year sequence - and in offering other courses on the literature and culture of Finland.
Admission Information
- Students should apply to the Humanities admission category on the St. George campus
- Six grade 12 U or M courses, including English are required
- Students outside of Ontario should have the equivalent senior high school credits

Introductory Courses
The Department offers foundational 200-series courses in literature, culture, and film that are suitable for and open to first-year students who are encouraged to take the following courses which do not require special linguistic or academic preparation:
