Curriculum Review and Renewal in A&S
Ensuring the best possible quality of academic experience for our students is the highest single priority in the Faculty of Arts & Science. Our curriculum, therefore, must provide the academic structure in which we frame this experience. To this end, the Faculty of Arts & Science conducted a major review of its undergraduate curriculum.
As a result of a two year process of discussion and consultation, the Final Report of the Curriculum Review and Renewal Committee was released in 2007 and approved by Faculty Council.
The Faculty has moved forward regarding the Committee’s recommendations, in particular through initiatives supported by the Faculty’s Curriculum Renewal Initiatives Fund (CRIF). This competition is a splendid opportunity for academic units to pilot, begin, or improve and solidify curricular innovations aligned with the goals of Curriculum Renewal in order to enhance the learning experience of our undergraduate students.
