Canada Chinese Computer Association Scholarship in Computer Science

  • Established by the Canada Chinese Computer Association.
  • (For Any Year) - Awarded to an undergraduate student of high academic standing, who has demonstrated financial need, and is enrolled in a Program offered by the Department of Computer Science, and has demonstrated an interest in Chinese literature, language of culture.  Applicants should submit an essay (maximum 250 words) describing their involvement with and/or interest in Chinese literature, language, or culture (e.g. course work, extra-curricular activities, etc). Apply to the Department of Computer Science by October 31.

 Craig Clement Memorial Scholarship

  • Established through donations from friends and family of the late Craig Clement and Global Strategy Financial Inc.
  • (For Any Year) - To be awarded to an undergraduate student of high academic standing in a Computer Science Major or Specialist and with a strong interest in Commerce and Finance. Must have completed one MGT half course.

Daniel Berlin Scholarship

  • Established through donations from the family, friends and colleagues of the late Daniel Berlin.
  • (For Any Year) - To be awarded to a student enrolled in a program offered by the Department of Computer Science or the Specialist program in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence.  Preference will be given to a student with an interest in the field of artificial intelligence.

 

Embanet Ken Feeney Computer Science Award
  • Established by the Embanet Corporation.
  • (For Any Year) - To be awarded to an undergraduate student enrolled in a program in Computer Science.  The student must demonstrate high academic standing.

 

Kay Baxter Memorial Award
  • Established by the Independent United Order of Solomon.
  • (For Year III) - Awarded to an undergraduate student enrolled in a program in Computer Science.  Financial need will be considered; academic merit will also be considered.

 

Ken Sevcik Bursary in Computer Science

  • Established through the generous gifts of former students of Professor Kenneth Sevcik and matched by OSOTF and EAF.
  • (For Any Year) - Awarded to students in a Specialist or Major Program in Computer Science. Financial need must be considered; academic merit will also be considered. This award is open to students from St. George, UTM and UTSC campuses. Contact the Department of Computer Science for application and deadline information.

 

Konrad Group Digital Technology Scholarship

  •  (For Year III or IV) - To be awarded to a 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in a Specialist or Major program in the Department of Computer Science. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates creativity and innovation with respect to the field of technology. Award will be made on the basis of academic achievement, reference letters and an essay. Contact the Department of Computer Science for application and deadline information.

 

Konrad Group Women in Technology Scholarship

  • (For Year III or IV) - To be awarded to a female 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in a Specialist or Major program in the Department of Computer Science. Preference will be given to a student who demonstrates creativity and innovation with respect to the field of technology. Award will be made on the basis of academic achievement, reference letters and an essay. Contact the Department of Computer Science for application and deadline information.

 

Samuel Beatty In-Course Scholarship

  • Established by the Samuel Beatty Fund and through donations from the family, friends and colleagues of Samuel Beatty.
  • (For II, III or IV) - To be awarded to students enrolled in a specialist program offered by the Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Statistical Sciences, based on academic merit. Financial need will also be considered. Contact the Department of Computer Science for the application and deadline.

 

Sony Scholarship in Computer Science

  • Established through the generous annual donation from Sony of Canada Ltd.
  • (For III Year) - To be awarded to an outstanding student who is enrolled in a Specialist or Major Program offered by the Department of Computer Science.

 

Tom Hull Scholarship in Computer Science

  • Established through gifts of friends, colleagues, and former students in memory of Professor Tom Hull. Matched by OSOTF and EAF.
  • (For Any Year) - Awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student in the Department of Computer Science, where financial need and academic merit will be considered. Contact the Department of Computer Science for the application and deadline.

 

Trentwith Computer Science Award

  • Established by Ms. Susan Dahlgren and Mr. John Galipeau and matched by OSOTF and EAF.
  • (For Year II, III and IV) - Awarded on the basis of financial need to three students - one entering each of second, third, and forth year of a Computer Science program. Academic merit will also be considered. If two students entering any one year and are equally deserving, the award for that year will be divided between them.
