Vivienne Poy Chancellor’s Fellowship in the Humanities and Social Sciences
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a graduate student in the Faculty of Arts and Science who is enrolled in a doctoral-stream humanities or social science program.
- Financial need will be considered; must demonstrate financial need by qualifying for OSAP or by submitting a Financial Needs Assessment Form for the fall-winter sessions in which the application is made.
- Please note: international students are not eligible.
Value:
- $30,000
- Award is paid, after re-registration in the next fall session at the University of Toronto, in three equal installments: September, January, May.
Applications:
Applicants must be nominated by their unit. Applications must be submitted by the nominating unit. Please ensure applications are complete upon submission.
- Two-page statement from the applicant outlining their program of study and/or research interests.
- Curriculum vitae.
- If applicable: undergraduate and graduate transcripts from institutions other than U of T (do not submit U of T transcripts)
- Letter of support from the student’s supervisor.
- Letter of support from the graduate coordinator of the student’s unit.
- Photocopy of the applicant’s OSAP assessment or Financial Needs Assessment Form.
