December exam timetable

The December 2017 Final Exam Timetable has been posted! Final exams in Fall term (F) courses and term tests in some full year (Y) courses will be held from December 9 to 20. Got a conflict? Please report it to our office by December 1 and we'll help you resolve it.

Assessing your academic progress

It's hard to believe that we're already past the halfway point of the fall term. Now is a good time to assess the progress in your courses. Are you keeping up with your school work so far? How did you do on your first few tests, quizzes, and assignments? If you're having any difficulties or concerns at all, make an appointment at your college registrar's office to talk things over with an advisor. Take note that November 6 is the deadline to drop fall term (F) courses without academic penalty. November 6 is also the deadline to add or remove the option to take an F-course to be assessed as CR/NCR.

Recruiting student leaders

Student Leaders for the 2018 Next Steps Conference are now being recruited! Next Steps is an intensive and energizing two-day conference to help students and recent grads make the leap from school to career with confidence. If you're an upper-year student who enjoys working on teams, meeting new people, and supporting your peers, consider applying to become a Student Leader; in this role, you'll gain valuable career-related knowledge and networking connections. Find the full job posting (#108751) by logging on to the Career Learning Network and apply today! The first training session is on Monday, October 23.

Just in time to give us your thoughts

You know those digital slides you see around campus and in class before your prof starts the lecture? Tell us how you feel about them and be entered to win a Tim Hortons or Starbucks gift card! The survey will be open until October 29.

After you graduate - what next?

And if you are planning to graduate in June 2018, don't forget that you have to request graduation on ACORN by January 31, 2018.
