Step 1: Contact Information

Step 1: Contact Information

Give us your contact information

Make sure you activate your UTORid and check your University of Toronto email account regularly. Once you have your TCard, you must activate your UofT email account.

All U of T students are provided with a campus email address through the UTmail+ service. It is your responsibility to activate, maintain, and update the SWS with this account. You can create an account or modify an existing one at www.utorid.utoronto.ca. All you need is a library number (found on your TCard) and your student number. To use and access certain University of Toronto web sites, it is necessary to have a UofT email account.

Setting up a UofT email account is mandatory for all University of Toronto students. The Office of the Faculty Registrar, the colleges, and departments send messages with news, updates and reminders to registered students with UofT email accounts. In addition, email notification of enrolment in courses through the waiting list process is sent to your UofT email account only.

In addition to your email address, it's important to make sure that your mailing address and other contact information as it appears on ROSI is up-to-date.

For help and advice during course enrolment (and throughout the year), you can contact the offices listed below.

If you need general help with course selection, your college registrar's office or the departmental office sponsoring your subject POSt (for students in second year and higher) can advise you. If you want to make sure you're satisfying your degree requirements, your college registrar's office can help. If you have questions about specific subject POSt requirements, contact the departmental office. You can find contact information for department and program offices here and in the subject POSt listings.

During course enrolment, if you find that a course you need is full, you can contact the department for advice on alternative courses. You can always email the Faculty Registrar's Office at ask@artsci.utoronto.ca with general inquiries.
